Carla Hicks was manning the Maxwell tent at the summer 2000 Scottish games in Charleston, West Virginia. In addition to the usual Maxwell banners and information, the tent’s displays included Dave Hicks’ authentic replicas of ancient weapons used by Maxwells and others on the Scottish Borders. Fresh from showing his longbow, broadsword and other regalia at the clan’s Annual General Meeting in Alabama, Dave and Carla provided quite a show for the folks in West Virginia.
