I am descended from Samuel (Henry) Maxwell of Carlisle, Pa. Your name Wilmer sounds like a name I have heard mentioned in my family. My great-grandfather was Darwin Stanton Maxwell who fought in the Civil War. He was married to Anzina Simons-she being from Upshur Co. W.V. I am looking for more information on her. They moved to western Kansas in 1886 and are buried in Gove Co Kansas
